Many years ago, when Snargers and Beedlecrabs still walked the earth and nobody knew what television was, there lived the Banda. Long since disappeared from our shores the Banda belonged to the Bear family, and due to their diet of red apples had luxurious soft pink fur. Although these gentle natured bears had no natural enemies, they did eventually die out mainly due to the human population deciding that green apples were much tastier than red ones. The Banda’s fur was also highly prized by disco dancers as not only was it the most garish shade of pink commercially available, but it also repelled bouncers. This led to a surge in poaching in the 1970’s. The last Banda was shot dead whilst scrumping apples in Tesco by undercover trolley collectors working on a tip off. Its stuffed head can be found in their head office entrance.
